How Embroidery Works

Embroidery uses thread stitched directly into the garment to create a clean, professional, and long-lasting design. Your artwork is first converted into a special embroidery file that tells the machine how and where to place each stitch. This process is called digitizing.

Embroidery works especially well for hats, polos, jackets, work shirts, bags, and other items where you want a polished, high-quality finish. There is no minimum order, although larger quantities usually provide the best value.

For the fastest and most accurate quote, send us:

• The garment style, color, quantity, and size breakdown 
• The embroidery location, such as left chest, hat front, sleeve, or back 
• The approximate finished size 
• Your artwork and needed completion date 

Clear, high-resolution artwork is preferred. Vector files are ideal, but a 300 DPI or greater image may also work. Embroidery files must be specially digitized, and a digitizing fee may apply to new designs.

If you are unsure whether your artwork will work for embroidery, we can review it, simplify it when needed, or help create the complete design. Small text, fine lines, gradients, and very detailed artwork may need to be adjusted so the finished stitching stays clean and readable.
